1. Use real chips

Never use coins or those cheap plastic chips. You will not get the full experience of a chip trick or even the feel of it if you don't use real chips. Real poker chips have thick edges and a large diameter, which makes them ideal for all sorts of tricks.

2. Start from the basics

By doing so, you will become more familiar with how the chips feel. Once you could do those simple tricks without thinking too much, then it is time to move up the ladder.
